Hawthorn Mineart is a full-time user interface designer and part-time writer of mystery novels and short stories. He is an annual participant in NaNoWriMo and has won several times.

Hawthorn lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife Stephanie, cat Salem, and dog Baxter. He is the Web/Media Chairperson for the writer’s organization Speed City Sisters in Crime.
